As a scientist you already know that we provide high-quality science in support of UK government departments to conserve and enhance the aquatic environment, promote rational management of our natural resources and protect the public from aquatic contaminants.

However, the growing importance of the marine environment, not least in relation to climate change, means that there are huge opportunities emerging within our organisation. We're already at the forefront of marine science, and with the opening of a new site in Lowestoft planned for 2010, we're ready to take things even further.
